Leading with Passion: My Journey in Aesthetics, Education, and Advocacy

My journey in aesthetics has been a long and rewarding adventure, marked by dedication, growth, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. It all began when I became one of the pioneering nurses to enter this dynamic and evolving field. With a foundation as a senior nurse and the privilege of participating in the renowned King’s Fund NHS Leadership Programme, I built a strong base for my career in both nursing and aesthetics. 

Throughout my professional life, I have been a passionate advocate for continuous learning and personal development. My pursuit of knowledge has enabled me to break new ground in the aesthetics field, becoming one of the first nurses to achieve the V300 prescribing qualification. Adding to this, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Dermatology and earned a postgraduate Level 7 qualification—both significant milestones that reflect my dedication to mastering my craft. These achievements are more than personal accolades; they symbolize my ongoing commitment to enhancing patient care, promoting best practices, and ensuring safety. Teaching and advocating for public safety through improved regulation have become twin pillars of my professional mission, driving everything I do. 

Over the years, I have been privileged to contribute to initiatives that aim to elevate standards across the aesthetics industry. My work with the HEE Expert Reference Group was particularly fulfilling, as it involved shaping educational frameworks designed to strengthen practice standards and safeguard public trust. Similarly, my role on the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practice (JCCP) Education and Training Committee allows me to advocate for these values, fostering progress and accountability within the profession. 

At Facethetics, these principles are at the heart of everything we do. Supporting learners on their educational journeys is not just a responsibility but also a profound source of pride and inspiration. Seeing our students thrive, achieve their goals, and contribute positively to the aesthetics field is one of my greatest rewards. Their successes reaffirm the power of education, mentorship, and a shared commitment to high standards.

Our educators have years of experience working with a wide variety of dermal fillers, both in their clinics and during training sessions.
