WEM 2022

WEM brings hundreds of aesthetic practitioners from around the world to hear from a panel of experts about best practice, new techniques and to share their experiences. The event is held to help the audience gain a deep understanding of Sinclair products, many of which are unique, through lectures and round-tables with emphasis on safety, efficacy and the science that lies behind our brands.

At the event, moderated by Dr Francisco de Melo the eminent plastic surgeon from UAE, we were delighted to host 54 speakers over the two days who spoke to an audience of delegates from over 50 countries.

WEM attracts some of the highest regarded plastic surgeons, aesthetic doctors and skin scientists in the world and the stage hosted a programme of over 50 presentations and demonstrations comprising over 40 lectures, 6 expert round tables, 8 pop-up talks and 2 interactive sessions.

There were experts discussing broad subjects such as the concept of beauty, anatomy, skin rejuvenation and trends in patient behavior and more detailed discussions relating to our products. Ellansé, Lanluma, MaiLi, Perfectha and Silhouette Soft, were all covered, as well as a number of EBD devices including the latest product in the portfolio, Préime [pre-may] DermaFacial.

Two focus days were included prior to the main event for those interested in learning about latest best practices for our two newest injectable products, Lanluma and MaiLi.

These were held at the prestigious Espacio Jaime Planas in Barcelona and consisted of lectures and live demos delivered by Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) , acknowledged exerts in their field, helping an audience of around 100 plastic surgeons and aesthetic physicians understand how to achieve safe & beautiful results for patients.

Simultaneously at the same location we held the inaugural Rise meeting. Rise is a new programme that aims to empower future leaders through advanced training and industry profile promotion. We selected 11 doctors from candidates around the world to work with our international KOLs and our education team to become our future international speakers and experts for our products.

The 2022 WEM is the first year we have held the conference since the acquisition of our EBD businesses, Cocoon and Viora, and we were very excited to showcase our products to delegates. Highlights included talks on the breakthrough into keloid and acne scars treatment with Enerjet. This followed with a talk on Cooltech: Cryoadpolysis discussing the science behind a platform that uses fat freezing technology to reduce unwanted fat from the body on both men and women.

There were contributions from eminent physicians on the V-series platform in the round table session on aesthetic treatments as well as detailed discussions about the diode laser machine Primelase and combination therapies available using the newly launched Préime Dermafacial.

The feedback we have received has been nothing short of amazing and the party on Friday night, attended by 700 physicians has been described as the biggest and best social event for our industry this year.
